SUSAN’S LAST TEA
My dear wife Susan has been singing in several Sweet Adelines women's barbershop choruses for 28 years now.

They perform in full stage makeup with matching jewelry and costumes and sing their hearts out as they dance through custom choreography.

She has appeared on the international stage during chorus competitions in Honolulu, Las Vegas, Nashville, and Baltimore. She has sung at Carnegie Hall and on a musical tour of Ireland.

For more than a decade, she's been commuting (over 110 miles roundtrip) to Los Gatos CA, to sing with Mission Valley Chorus. Usually at rush hour.

Now she has decided to hang up her pitch pipe and retire from Sweet Adelines. Los Gatos hasn't gotten any closer.

Her last time singing with Mission Valley will take place on Saturday, December 7th, at their annual holiday party, the Jingle Bell Tea.

It's always a fun event, featuring performances by Mission Valley and guest quartets, as well as a lovely High Tea Service. Delectable finger sandwiches and other yummy foods (both savory and sweet).

Big fun. It usually sells out, so do buy your tickets online in advance at http://missionvalley.org. Two shows at 11:30 am and 3 pm. Please come if you can.
