I just started another cozy mystery, number 13 in Alexander McCall Smith’s series, the No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. Mma Ramotswe, owner of the agency, is clever, intuitive, and fraught with good values.
Fun, interesting, and set in Botswana. Fascinating series!

B: Your hair! S: I cut it. B: You cut it yourself?

B: Your hair!
S: I cut it.
B: You cut it yourself?
S: Yup. Couldn't stand it.
B: But ... you've never cut your hair yourself. How did you know what to do?
S: I talked to my hair cutter. She told me to find a YouTube video and watch it. So I did.
B: The video taught you how to cut your own hair?
S: Well, it taught me how to cut someone else's hair. It's different cutting your own. You can't walk around yourself and see your own work.
B: There was no video on cutting your own hair?
S: I dunno.
B: It looks amazing. Did you use a mirror?
S: Yes. Well, sort of. But I couldn't cut my hair with my glasses on. So I couldn't see much.
B: Wow. You cut it by feel?!
S: Pretty much.
B: You are an amazing woman. Will you cut mine, too? You can walk around me.
